Education work:

Andy has led Creative Music Workshops for over 25 years working with large and small organisations, charities and schools. Andy has developed a reputation for delivering quality workshops and works extensively in special education, providing his own style and blend of original, fun and educational music for hundreds of children and adults every week. Working with all ages and abilities, the aim is to make the world of sound and music accessible to all.  Andy has worked with BBC National Orchestra of Wales for many years on its ground-breaking learning work. Together they have delivered bespoke workshops and concerts for pupils in schools and special schools in Wales, and in Patagonia as part of BBC NOW’s tour of South America in 2015.

Electronica:

I have loved listening to and creating electronic music since being a toddler. I remember I couldn't wait to get my hands on my first 'electronic' keyboard when I was little. That magic of finding out what sounds these amazing instruments can offer is something that I still love discovering and continue widening my sound palette. The current resurgence in analogue equipment is something I embrace with both hands (literally) it reminds me that we never stop learning, always discovering new sounds and music - long may it continue.

Training

I have a real passion for the work I do and believe that passing on skills and motivating others is an important part of my work.

I have been fortunate enough over the years to have run training sessions for The Royal collage of music and drama, Cardiff.  The university of Cardiff,  Community music Wales and many inset days for teachers and teacher assistants and many of the musicians from the BBC National Orchestra of Wales as part of the education program there.
